  • What guitar should I buy?
    We can refer some amazing brands to you to help get you started in the right direction, but what is most important when purchasing a guitar is how the instrument feels when playing it. Comfortability will always lead to better playing, so which guitar feels the best to you?
  • If I'm left handed then should I buy a left hand guitar?
    You should always buy an instrument that is suited to your dominant hand whether that's left or right. However, I have seen left handed players play on a right handed guitar, so I would say this is more of a personal preference.
  • What kind of guitar picks do I need?
    There are typically 3 different types of guitar picks: Light, Medium, and Heavy; with Light being the thinnest, and Heavy being the thickest. Whichever type of pick you decide to use is more of a players preference and choice. However, there are some benefits to using thicker picks.
  • How long should I take lessons for?
    Both types of guitar are equally suitable for beginner or advanced guitar lessons. The type of music you wish to play will help determine the guitar that you should choose. The acoustic is tougher to learn on, but builds strong players. The electric guitar is easier on the fingers, and has more control over sounds and effects.
  • How much do I need to practice to learn guitar?
    When it comes to practice consistency is the key, so 20 - 30 minutes every day will be far more beneficial than a 2 hour binge at the weekend. If student commits a minimum of 4-5 days of practice, 20 - 30 minutes a day, then we can GUARANTEE results.
  • How long will it take me to learn to play my first song?
    Each student progresses at their own level, so try not to compare your growth with someone else. By the end of the Beginner (Bronze) Level, you will learn how to play your first song.
  • Should I learn on an acoustic or electric guitar?
    Both types of guitar are equally suitable for beginner or advanced guitar lessons. The type of music you wish to play will help determine the guitar that you should choose.   • What is "Rhythm"?
    Rhythm is often expressed as the "beat", "groove", or "flow" of the music. Rhythm guitarists specialize in carrying the underlying chord progression throughout the song in order to support the pace and melody of the music.
  • What happens if my guitar instructor cancels on me?
    If the lesson is canceled by the instructor then payment for that lesson, if paid for in advance, will be refunded to your account.
  • What if I need to cancel my lesson?
    No worries. Call our corporate number and let our representative know. Your lesson will be refunded, if paid for in advance, and there will be no penalty.
